User Guide

Cryoanalgesia is the therapeutic use of cold to provide temporary and reversible numbing of superfi cial sensory nerves in the skin. This product has been specifi cally designed to allow the User to deliver a carefully dosed burst of liquid cryogen at -50°C to the skin area prior to insertion of a needle. Suitable for paediatric clinics, primary care and GP surgeries, phlebotomy departments and minor op facilities. This unit is also suitable for use in dentistry for oral application to test nerve root perception to cold.

User Guide

1. Hold canister 5 cms from the area you wish to inject. Press the actuator fi rmly to discharge a single measured burst of cryogen. Wait for 2 seconds and repeat

2. Wait 2-5 seconds whilst for the cryogen to evaporate and then insert the needle fi rmly and precisely.

Caution! Use ONLY as directed. Excessive or inappropriate use will cause pain and irreversable damage to skin cells. For external use by qualifi ed medical, healthcare and phlebotomy therapists ONLY.

Cryotherapy is the therapeutic use of cold to provide pain relief and rehabilitation therapy to skin and soft tissue (muscle, tendons, ligaments) and joints (strains, sprains). It may also be used immediately after injury to reduce swelling and inflammation which are the main causes of pain and disability. Pain Relief Gel off ers a easy ‘out of the box’ solution for rehabilitation therapist wanting to give quick pain relief prior to massage, mobilisation and manipulation. Simply rub over the painful area and allow 3-5 mins.
